Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Hurghada und das Serry Beach Resort war das Beste an unserem Urlaub. Bereits bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Ahmad empfangen. Die ganze Hotelanlage, Pool, Meer, Zimmer waren immer sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen wurde jeden Tag frisch vor einem zubereitet. Das NAZ Club im Hotel bietet eine schöne Unterhaltung an und der Sänger hat alles live gesungen. Man hat gemerkt, dass dem Personal das Wohl eines Gastes sehr wichtig ist. Wir würden wieder kommen.

We spent seven wonderful days as a family. Everything was excellent. Staff, rooms, cleanliness, and the buffet were all excellent. The only negative for us was the lack of a reef to see the fish at the hotel. But the hotel's planned excursions were great. And something should be done at the pool.

There is nothing wrong with the service, food, location, beach, staff etc., it is really very nice.

BUT! You just can't really switch off in this hotel or enjoy a relaxing evening or just relax, there is a din of music everywhere in the hotel!

At first we accepted the music as befits the establishment, but after the third day at the latest it just got on our nerves, it is just too much and too loud!

We repeatedly spoke to staff and reception, they kept saying that they have no influence on the music but it is well known that several guests have already complained about the penetratingly loud music.

Apparently the management knows about it, but nothing is being done about it.

There are large speakers in almost every corner of this hotel that make it impossible to switch off and relax. I can only recommend that everyone get a room as far away from the main restaurant as possible, there is constant noise in the hotel room from exactly 9:00 a.m. until late in the evening...
We try to be in the restaurant as early as possible every day to avoid the music.

At the back towards the fish restaurant on the beach there is a small area where there are no loudspeakers, as there is even a loudspeaker hanging above the baby pool that is running.

Unfortunately, even in this area on the beach you can still hear some of the music from the pool area and the music when the volleyball game starts...

The hotel is fantastic, I don't understand how someone can so carelessly destroy such a beautiful setting with this constant noise.

It is now our 5th day here in the hotel and it feels more and more like a party hotel because of the loud music...

Anyone looking for peace and relaxation from their hard working day or who wants to travel with children should think again about whether this hotel is right for them.
Unfortunately, we find it difficult to relax...

Am Service, Essen, Lage, Strand, Personal etc. ist nichts auszusetzen, wirklich sehr schön.

ABER! Man kann in diesem Hotel einfach nicht richtig abschalten oder mal einen entspannten Abend genießen oder mal zur Ruhe kommen, überall schallt ein Gedudel an Musik durch das Hotel!
Zuerst habe wir die Musik dem Etablissement entsprechend akzeptiert, aber spätestens nach dem 3. Tag ging es uns einfach nur noch auf die Nerven, es ist einfach zu viel und zu laut!

Wir haben immer wieder Personal, sowie die Rezeption angesprochen, es hieß immer wieder das sie keinen Einfluss auf die Musik haben aber es wohl bekannt ist dass sich bereits mehrere Gäste über die penetrante laute Musik beschwert haben.
Angeblich wüsste das Management wohl Bescheid, aber geändert wird daran nichts.

In fast jeder Ecke dieses Hotels hängen große Lautsprecher die ein abschalten und entspannten unmöglich machen.
Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen ein Zimmer soweit weg wie nur möglich vom Hauptrestaurant zu nehmen, es herrscht Dauerbeschallung im Hotelzimmer morgens exakt ab 9:00 Uhr bis in den späten Abend…
Wir versuchen täglich so früh es geht im Restaurant zu sein um der Musik zu entgehen.
Hinten Richtung Fischrestaurant am Strand gibt eine kleinen Bereich in dem keine Lautsprecher hängen, da selbst über dem Baby Pool ein Lautsprecher hängt der läuft.
Leider hört man aber auch in diesem Bereich am Strand immernoch etwas die Musik vom Poolbereich als auch die Musik wenn das Volleyball Spielen losgeht…

Das Hotel ist traumhaft, ich verstehe nicht wie man so leichtfertig eine so schöne Kulisse mit dieser permanenten Dauerbeschallung so zerstören kann.
Es ist nun unser 5. Tag hier im Hotel und es fühlt sich auf Grund der lauten Musik mehr und mehr wie ein Party Hotel an…

Wer auf der Suche nach Ruhe und Entspannung aus seinem harten Arbeitsalltag ist oder mit Kindern anreisen möchte sollte sich nochmal überlegen ob dieses Hotel das Richtige für ihn ist.
Entspannen fällt uns leider schwer…

Had a really good time at the Serry Beach Resort. Rooms were cleaned immaculately every single day and the food is just amazing for an all inclusive.

Several staff really made the experience for us, including Mina, Achraf and a smiley younger waiter at the seafood restaurant who I didn’t catch the name of.

meals are freshly prepared with home-made products. You can taste this! There are no bars so you are forced to be served and just relax. Thanks to Ahmed Arafat from the main restaurant. He knows exactly what we want and how we want it. The F&B manager also listens to her guests and knows exactly what is needed for a comfortable stay. We really appreciate the personal contact from Syni from guest relations and the rooms are always neat and clean by our housekeeping.

First time in Egypt, spent the best week in Serry beach. Very aesthetic & beautiful hotel newly built. Perfect location for relaxation. All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Yassar who was always so friendly and made us laugh at all times & always so welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

I loved my stay here. The service was amazing and the staff are extremely friendly. One gentlemen in particular Mohamed Ahmed who worked in the restaurant was very attentive to us when we went to eat. The food is fantastic and the vibe of the hotel is so quiet and tranquil.

For the first time in Egypt, I felt the arrogance of the service staff. We were staying at the Marriott for the first two nights. I found this hotel on a walk. It looks great because I don't know much about the brand. I wanted to experience it. It all went wrong when we entered the hotel. First all the service staff told us that we could only book online from the front desk without rooms. No walking in! We were rejected after expressing interest in the hotel and finding it attractive from the outside. Says you can see everything on the website. Okay, so the nightmare started the next day after we successfully checked into the hotel. I always think that they are proud because they are very high level. Inefficient from check-in. The female manager of the front desk or the reception face of unhappiness and greetings. It's like she doesn't quite understand what she's doing. Always in an unprofessional and confused state. There's another smell to the room that doesn't completely take away the smell of decoration. The whole hotel shows a trend of Internet fame and popularity. But no taste, let alone attractions. I suggest you head straight to Marriott where they have the happiest service people and everyone smiles at you. Strongly not recommended this one.

Like everyone I was worried the reviews were too good to be true but Serry beat my expectations.

Came to Egypt as a solo traveller for the 1st time & felt at home at Serry, great food, endless drinks and loads of activities to keep you busy.

The design of the hotel is modern, minimalistic, Arabic-inspired glam. Staff were super friendly and there was always somewhere to eat or drink no matter what time of the day from any of the dining options.

Considering it was Easter, the hotel was busy but not too noisy and minimal queues but it was almost impossible to book a dinner at one of the a la cartel restaurants. Would suggest making a reservation as soon as you arrive!

There was a fully packed activity schedule with things ranging from yoga to pottery, tea tasting and water sports.

Cons:

- Staff don't explain or show you around enough, no explication of all the different restaurants or activities other than the piece of paper
- Menus! Really difficult to view menus at restaurants, staff seemed really hesitant to share them at almost all food outlets and it would often be a back and forth before I got one.
- Was there for 4 nights & all 3 restaurants were fully booked the whole time so I wasn't able to eat at the a la carte restaurants.
- Family friendly hotel so loads of kids but the children's pool was almost empty most days with most families using main pool meaning no space left for adults. But there was always space on the beach. Please reinforce and signpost the children's pool better for families.
- Internet barely worked - please fix this!
