Glad I did not go by some of the bad reviews. We are here for the last week and another week to go. First of all we had better in 5 star hotels. This is not a 5 star. But I have no complaints. We new about the noise and paid extra for side view problem solved. Staff very nice, food very good, service excellent never waiting on a table. The rooms are spotless aa is the hotel. Excellent location. And great value. We will book again. With a few hundred room no complaining from 99%. No bed bugs or cockroches. OK the hallway is tired looking but the hotel is getting full revamp floor by floor. Then the people complaining that will rebook will be complaining about the price going up. But will still book. The rooms need more sockets. Over all a lot better then I was expecting.

Very, very bad experience, we are still staying in this Hotel, floor 8, impossible to sleep until 3 in the morning, guilty, the Leonardos pub, karaoke with decibels impossible to bear, I do not recommend this Hotel at all, if what you want It is to be calm and rest, apart from how old and quite dirty it is, it is saved by the food and its service, which are quite friendly, I will not return, that is for sure and we are a couple who travel a lot, I do not recommend it.

Ok, so I just returned from hotel Sol Tenerife. We spent there 6 nights, myself and my 15 years old daughter.After reading all the comments and reviews I was about the change the hotel few times, but then we decided to give it a go. I've never booked hotel with so many mixed reviews, and so many bad ones.Here are my thoughts:- Yes, hotel is a bit dated, you can see stains on the corridor carpet , some furniture is scratched, BUT everything is very clean, smell fresh and it's pleasant.- We've booked sea view room, and got room number 775, block B, with the most amazing sunsets and views in general- The reception was friendly, didn't have the feeling they are slow or unpleasant- The room is small, but it had all what we needed , comfortable bed ( clean) , big wardrobe, bathroom ( yes,bit dated especially bathtub, but again clean). They cleaned the room every day, changed the towels every time we needed. There was no issue with hairdryer, water power and all the other stuff people mentioned.I personally didn't see any bugs and not even a single cockroach.- Food is ok, it's good, always plenty of choice. I wouldn't say it's the best one I've ever had , but it's acceptable.- Pool is cleaned every morning and yes, everyone is placing the towels on the sunbeds to " reserve them" every morning, but that's what people do, not hotel rules. I think it shouldn't be allowed but...it is what it is.Actually on my last day the lifeguard took out all the towels from not used sunbeds at around 10 am, and I think that's fair.- There are plenty of tables, chairs, so even if you don't get a sunbed you can spend the time over there, close to a pool bar- Noise- yes, the hotel is located just a step from Veronica's pubs, disco's and karaoke and it can be loud.We didn't have any issues , we've heard music at night but it wasn't to loud or something really annoying. I believe people who have balcony side to the sea, so front to the street can complain because it is loud. You are in the centre of a night life , it's definitely not a calm area, so that's your choice.- The hotel is safe, there are security people on duty all the time, so I don't think you need to worry about the safety but when you walk at night just around the corner, be prepared to see many young men selling not only the sunglasses.- There is an ATM at the lobby, washing machine in the pool area, safe in the room ( paid separately), small fridge, kettle...we went all inclusive, so didn't really use it.- Yes there is only one socket in the room, I didn't find it uncomfortable or annoying but if you have more stuff to be charged at the same time, it will be challenging.- Entertainment is great, there were some amazing ones and there were some less interesting, I wouldn't say it is a perfect hotel for small kids if you are looking for evening kids disco or something like that ( in January).There are kids clubs by the pools ( one is heated ), so that's OK for kids, but in general the majority of the customers here are adults. The staff is very friendly and trying to entertain everyone. Yoga or pilates classes are available every morning. They were great .- Taxi takes approx 20 minutes from the airport , paid 36€ at night and 30€ on our way back.

The hotel is amazing highly recommendednext to the seaThe food and drink is great and the staff are very friendly. But the neighbouring bars are playing music to 4am. Also there’s only one plug socket so it takes a while to charge our electronics. Other than that I will definitely come back here with friends and family

So far so good.I am the mother and grandmother of these people, I cannot understand that because we arrived a little late to the hotel breakfast they left us without it, I asked them to bring us something to eat and they told me no, it is a mother and her 6-year-old son I find it incomprehensible, they have been in the hotel for 15 days with half board and the logical thing is that they would have gotten something for breakfast,Since they have not given him breakfast, he has tried to change it to lunch and they have told him NO,It is unworthy and incomprehensible since the hotel is not cheap at all,And to whom this message corresponds, no excuses will be of any use to me.We have to be a little more human, especially when there is a minor involved.

Long-standing hotel located in the heart of Los Americas, a stone's throw from the nightlife and the sea, therefore highly recommended for young people in the mood for fun but not recommended for families with small children. We chose the breakfast formula which was really plentiful of medium quality, from sweet to savory. The hotel offers a swimming pool which is unfortunately not very large considering the amount of guests that the hotel can accommodate. Furthermore, early in the morning people rushed to occupy the deckchairs and then freely went for breakfast and other things in order to keep the seats occupied. The rooms are really mediocre! SERVICES Very old toilets, with rust everywhere, double bed made up of two single beds pushed together which moved every little bit... if this is the service offered by a four star hotel I don't know what to say... there is only one socket in the room away from the bed, and one in the bathroom. The cleaning was superficial, I think the toilets were only washed twice in 15 days. To reinforce the fact that hygiene is not a priority, inside the room we found two cockroaches running around the room flying everywhere and when we requested action we were told that they couldn't do anything and that in Tenerife they are seen like flies, which is why we would have had to sleep in the room in the company of two lovable cockroaches who were playing in our clothes without even having been able to use insect poison which was not provided to us. Otherwise the room was quite spacious with a small balcony overlooking a side sea view. Very few parking spaces, but there are several parking areas nearby.

We stayed in Sol Tenerife Hotel, the week before last and we were very impressed. The room was very clean and cleaned every day we were there. The breakfast every morning was unbelievable, the amount of choice you were given from fresh fruits to hot foods to pancakes made to order by the chefs who were brilliant. You could also go and return through the back gate if you didn't want the hustle and bustle of Veronica's Strip which as we were in block A was loudish but I had brought some earplugs but most nights I didn't need them. All the hotel staff were so polite, and there was security guards on duty all the time so everyone felt safe who stayed there and loads of activities by the pool for everyone as well as the fantastic stage acts every night. The only thing I would have liked to see was a spy/ peep hole in middle of room door as the odd night we were woken by somebody knocking ( probably got room numbers wrong ) and it would have been better to see who it was than just opening the door.but I would definitely recommend the Sol Tenerife Hotel to anyone as you will not be disappointed as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and we will be back there again on our next visit to Tenerife.

This is a really mixed review for me. Hotel is supposed to be a 4*. I believe it once was, but not anymore. Very run down in places.Let’s start with bedrooms, so so clean, cleaned everyday, fresh towels couldn’t have asked for more. The beds were so comfortable. We had two rooms and only one plug socket worked in both rooms, take an extension lead with you. Aircon in rooms set to 19 and no lower, it is by the door, no where near the beds so no real benefit at night. Lifts to the rooms nice and clean but kept breaking, luckily only one out of action at a time. The hotel is on the main strip of Tenerife so if you are a light sleeper take ear plugs. Sunbeds, no where near enough for the hotel, 150 maximum, and so many of them are broken. You need to be in reception before 8.30am for when security open the doors to put towels on bed else you will have no chance, reception even tell you to do it. You cannot play with balls etc in the pool, lifeguard will stop you immediately. You cannot smoke by sunbed or outside bar area you have to use designated smoking areas. Food some nights great, some nights, let’s just say we were all inclusive but we chose to eat out.Just so you know you will be offered Charlie etc every 10meters. Overall great family holiday but would I stay at SOL TENERIFE again NO!!!

Me and my mum stayed here for a week all inclusive, the rooms were so clean and tidy, bed was changed 3 times while we were there. room was cleaned everyday and always had fresh towels. the food was enjoyable with plenty of choice, the choice of drinks that were included in all inclusive was surprising as staying in an all inclusive hotel before you are restricted on drinks. prosecco and cocktails were all included in the all inclusive. the beach was right behind the pool area with a gate leading out to the beach, the strip, bars and restaurants were literally a 2 minute walk. would definitely go again!!

We had a nice time in Tenerife, however, this hotel was expensive and the quality was far from desired.There is a Disco next to the hotel, so is hard to sleep with music until 5 AM. This is a no go for families.Pool closes at 7 PM, that's a joke. The interior of the hotel looks old, the hall has no air conditioning, which is terrible for a 4-star hotel.Positives: the workers are nice, the dinner was pretty good. It won't ruin your holidays, but still, it's far from desired.We even found a cockroach in one of the couch's of the hall.

Situated next to the strip, the proximity to nightlife means you can hear the festivities until 4 AM. This is great if you're planning to be out and about, but it can be a disturbance if you prefer a quieter environment.Regarding the accommodations, the rooms were clean and tidy, but labeling the hotel as a four-star seems a bit of a stretch. The facilities and services, although adequate, did not quite meet the expectations that typically come with a four-star rating.The food offered at the hotel was another area where expectations were not met. It was rather unremarkable and didn't leave much to be desired.Overall, Hotel Sol Tenerife serves its purpose as a convenient place to rest, especially if you're in the area for the nightlife. However, for those seeking a more engaging hotel experience or higher-quality amenities, it might be best to look elsewhere unless you find yourself in desperate need of a place to sleep.
