Do not stay here, half board food is horrendous. 11 of us booked in August and found all the food uneatable . We complained first three nights to hotel staff , they just shrugged their shoulder’s and said sorry. The hotel reception said they could do nothing for us we had to contact jet 2 . We did this and have got a pittance of the money back we have spent (£14,000 spent). We will be making a formal complaint to jet2 on our return and demand a bigger refund. Discusting!

Really enjoyed our stay at Vulcano. The staff were friendly and the location is fantastic (5mins to Américas beach and 10 from Los Cristianos). Drink on entry was a great touch! Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was amazing and a huge variety of hot/cold options including lots of fresh fruit.My only complaint would be the 2 small elevators weren’t enough for such a large hotel and sometimes have to wait a few times to get a lift you can squeeze in to.

Third time in Tenerife and first visit to Spring Volcano Hotel. Everything was excellent, Room clean, Staff helpful and food excellent. BUT small complaint. Why is practically every sun bed taken with a towel on it all day? I don’t think it’s acceptable to leave a sun bed when it’s out of use for hours!

Could not fault this place ..... apart from the change to the dining arrangements.Have stayed here many times, always at the Up! Terrace, 7th floor Seaview room.Lovely room. Cleaned daily by a lovely lady. Always topped up tea and milks and my coffee pods for the great coffee machine.The Up is as great as before. Such a lovely place to relax and spend your days. The drinks are fabulous, top quality and the food is great. I choose to eat this rather than the breakfast downstairs.The only niggly point is the evening meal situation. It's now a buffet for starter and choosing off the menu for main course.I only chose twice - thought the chicken skewers would be a safe option but they were dry snd tasteless. The other time was the barbecue ribs which were lovely.I heard a lot of people complaining. I do hope the hotel management listen to the reviews and revert back to the successful buffet arrangement.I've had a great time, treated very well by all the staff I encountered.Coming back for New Year celebrations this year.Thank you to all the staff who make this such a great place to stay ...... just lose the current evening meal situation. The original buffet was a great success.See you in December. X

Stayed here for a week with my girlfriend. Haven’t got a bad thing to say about the hotel. Good breakfast choices. Really good pool with lots of sun beds. Close to everything around. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy rooms.

Great hotel, great location, clean and very friendly staff. The breakfast is great with plenty of options so you won’t be disappointed…. However the new dinner system is awful. It’s now pick a main of the menu with a selection of buffet style starters and desserts. The main menu options don’t offer much choice and options are limited to meat with a side of veg and fries. The restaurant is now empty of an evening with others like myself opting to eat out evening though we had paid for half board. Would defo stay again but only pick the breakfast option ! Great pool area plenty of sunbeds but you do need to put a towel down before 9 to get your preferred spot. Lifts in the hotel are extremely slow with one not working there’s only 2 for about 500 rooms to use. Can take 5 minutes to reach reception from the top floor.

Fantastic hotel, great breakfast, hotel staff were great, rooms were cleaned daily with fresh seats.Pool was very good, although we weren't advised that the infinity pool was €15 euros per day, and rooftop pool was €70 per day.Location was close to beach and nice bars/restaurants.Would I recommend this hotel? Yes I feel that it was a good all round hotel, with good amenities, only downside I feel was the lifeguard spent most of his time on his phone, disabled lady was trying to get into the pool and couldn't grab his attention, also children playing in adult only jacuzzi pool.Other than the above I would be back.
