KC Grande Resort asub White Sand Beach’i vaikses piirkonnas, pakkudes ligipääsu liivaranda ja türkiissinise mereni. Hotellis on mitmed basseinid – nii mereäärses alas kui ka mäepoolses alas (Hillside). White Sand Beach

White Sand Beach ehk Hat Sai Khao on Ko Chang saare kõige kuulsam ja arendatum rand, mille tuntuse põhjuseks on 3 km pikkune valge liivane rannariba ja mitmekülgne infrastruktuur. Rand asub saare läänerannikul, umbes 20 minuti autosõidu kaugusel Ao Sapparot’i sadamast. Rand on lai ja tegelikult sobib see suurepäraselt lastele, sest vesi süveneb järk-järgult ja on vaikne. Kuigi nimi viitab valgele liivale, võib liiv olla tegelikkuses pigem hele, mitte täiesti lumivalge. Lõunaosa on tihedamini arenenud: hotellid, baarid ja söögikohad. Põhjaosa on rahulikum ja romantilisem, asub enamasti bungalowde ja väiksemate majutusasutuste lähedal. Parim aeg puhata Koh Chang saarel on novembrist aprillini (mai algus), kuiva hooaja jooksul. Tipphooaeg on detsember – jaanuar. Juunist – septembrini on vihmahooaeg, september on kõige vihmasem kuu. Oktoobrist ilm muutub ‘suviseks’.

The room was nice, the location was good, and the breakfast was good.
There was a hair dryer, slippers, and a Jacuzzi in the room, but the water pressure wasn't strong.

Excellent value 4cstar standard hotel right on the beach at White Sands. The facilities are beachside and the rooms are back over the road except for bungalows. The pool is great. Buffet is good and the service is excellent. Rooms are clean with everything you need including TV, AC, safe and fridge. Beds are comfortable too. The rates are good value and I think we will stay here again. 1000 thb deposit per night required.

Our first time visit to Koh Chang and we could not have selected a better hotel. We stayed in beachfront villa and it is well worth the money. Large beautiful rooms with comfortable king size bed and just a delight to open the curtains in the morning and see the sea, then walk out directly onto the beach. We would like to thank Gigi for greeting us each morning at breakfast with a large smile and happy face. She made us happy every day. The breakfast was excellent and the system for ordering your eggs is the best we have seen in Thailand. We will be back.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations!
The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and always willing to help.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming from the moment we arrived.
The restaurant was absolutely fantastic — both the food and service were top-notch.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Been here before and this time I wasn’t disappointed either.

Main rooms are getting refurbished so the only normal rooms available are across the road. They are modern and comfortable with their own pools.

Food at restaurant is great. But signs need to be more clear as food items are not marked correctly.

Staff are amazing as usual. Thank you for all your help and being so accommodating.

This was our second – and most likely final – stay at KC.

Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the bedsheets were not clean, and the rain shower was not functioning properly. Initially, we decided not to raise a complaint, as we wanted to settle in and enjoy our stay.

However, during happy hour, an incident occurred that significantly impacted our experience. Shortly after receiving our drinks, my boyfriend discovered a bee in his cocktail, which stung him inside his mouth. We immediately informed the bar staff, who responded swiftly and arranged transportation to the hospital. For that, we are genuinely grateful.

Following the hospital visit, we decided to report the various issues to the front desk. The receptionist was apologetic and offered to escalate the matter to the manager the following day. That evening, the housekeeping team replaced the bedsheets.

The next morning, we met with the front desk manager, who apologized and offered a complimentary afternoon tea set as a gesture of goodwill. I also mentioned that, under the circumstances, I would have expected a small note or fruit plate as a more personal form of apology the previous evening. He replied that they did not want to “bother” us, which felt dismissive. However, later that day, after returning from the pool, we did find a fruit plate and card in our room.

On the following day, we arrived at the bar around 2:50 PM for our afternoon tea. We ordered drinks and informed the staff of our location. While the drinks arrived promptly, the food did not. After waiting 40 minutes, we returned to the front desk to follow up. They apologized again and said the food would arrive soon. When it still hadn’t been served, we spoke with both the front desk manager and the food & beverage manager. Though both apologized, the exchange came across as unprofessional, particularly when one seemed to shift blame to the other in front of us. The food finally arrived just before 4 PM – well after the promised time.

By that point, the experience had been more frustrating than enjoyable. What should have been a relaxing, restorative stay turned into a series of avoidable disappointments due to lack of attention to detail and poor communication between departments.

Lastly, a day after the cocktail incident, we noticed that the pool bar appeared to be addressing a significant bee issue. While the bee in the drink may have been accidental, it likely occurred due to insufficient oversight, especially in an area known to have such a problem.

We appreciate the efforts made by individual staff members and do love the hotel’s environment. However, the overall handling of these issues by management left us feeling undervalued and frustrated, ultimately compromising our stay.

We stayed at KC Hotel for 2 weeks in a garden view bungalow, and we had a beautiful unforgettable holiday. The best hotel we have stayed in so far, delicious and diverse breakfast, real coffee, amazing and kind, respectful staff. The bungalow is beautiful and clean, thank you to the staff, they made sure every day that we have a spotless room, as a nurse I am quite strict with these things.
The beach is a dream. The staff went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed assistance. Thank you to VET, for my beautiful birthday wishes and my late night cake!
The infinity pools are insanely beautiful, facilities are clean and easily accessible, we felt like we lived in a botanical garden.
This whole holiday was a beautiful dream.
