Nice hotel, large area. But you can have reservations about the rooms. It is worth paying extra for the Premium rooms, others are quite small, and in ours there was an unpleasant smell from the sewage in the bathroom. The food in the restaurant is a bit monotonous and not very tasty. The hotel service is very nice and improves the impression l.

The staff speaks a lot of languages which is good but mostly english.If you go at dinner with a mini dress or something like this, the staff will stare at you like they saw cleopatra.If you got the "all inclusive" pack you can go at only one restaurant where the food is horrible, if you get the "ultra all inclusive" pack (which only a few people get, because it's not really worth it) you can eat at all the 5 restaurants.The staff doesn't put more drinks in your room if you don't tip them.

Overall the stay at Desert Rose Resort was good. The weather was still very good at the beginning of December and you could still swim in the sea, even if it was a bit cold.If you want to relax on the beach chairs, you definitely have to take the orange wristband from the towel station with you. Otherwise the salespeople would approach you every 5 minutes and want to sell their tours. Unfortunately, the orange ribbon is sometimes not always observed.The beach itself was very clean and the garbage was always thrown away.Room service was very nice and always made great art out of the towels! :)Some employees could have been in a better mood or welcomed you more warmly, but most were still nice.The food in the main restaurant becomes very monotonous after a while, but we didn't get any stomach problems from it. We really liked the Il Delfino and Fattoosh Theme Restaurant and the change was definitely needed!

This is the best hotel of all in the city of Hurghada. We were in different ones, but we wanted to come back here a second time.We would like to express our special gratitude to the room check-in employee, Arafat. We arrived in the evening and were very tired after the flight. At first we were given a room without a balcony in the reception building, but we refused. Then we were moved to a room near the pool, which we didn’t really like, but we put up with it. And then the accommodation manager Arafat came up to us and asked if everything was fine with us and if we liked the room. We answered honestly that everything was fine, but we weren’t thrilled. And then, surprisingly, the manager told us that we are guests of the hotel and therefore it is very important that we like everything and nothing upsets us. And he provided us with a luxurious room, with new furniture, with a beautiful view from the balcony absolutely free of charge. After all, in all other hotels it is customary to pay extra for a good room. We were happy. This manager was sincere and kind. A professional in his field. He made sure that we were now satisfied with everything, wished us a pleasant stay and allowed us to contact him if we needed anything. We felt that this person treated us with special respect and respect. In other hotels everything is done purely formally. And Desert Rose is customer-oriented. on the highest level. Hotel employees should be encouraged and rewarded for such work! Thank you very much for the excellent service. We will definitely return to this hotel many more times!

.....I visited this beautiful hotel for the fourth time in May of this year, as expected, it was again fantastically beautiful and the service was simply perfect, just like it was all the years before, this year my sister had me & husband accompanied, they were also just thrilled and enjoyed their vacation very much...we decided on the spot to come back in November...thank you very much to the entire crew for this wonderful vacation.. .with the very best regards and see you soon....Carola Jänicke & family

The hotel is very beautiful, the general atmosphere was wonderful, and the treatment was good, but the room service was not the best sometimes.

This place was a dream, a paradise. The fragrance of flowers in the air, the ambience, the service. Wish I was there right now! Our few days stay here was a highlight after 1 week of travels between many wonderful places in Egypt. We even had a small birthday celebration for my dad, they prepare cake for anyone whose birthday taking place during their stay :)Right opposite the hotel and within the hotel you will find good souvenir shops especially Cleopatra store.Things the hotel can consider improving:1. adding more international dishes in its buffet such as Chinese noodles, Indian breads/curries & more western options.2. The bathroom shower can be improved/updated and be a little more well scrubbed.

We are couple and are staying at the resort from May: 18-26- Food: Solid quality, with grilled BBQ every evening.- Infrastructure: everything well maintained: rooms, gardens, good outdoor gym.- Beach: Nice although they are currently completing constructions.

If you looking for a real HONEST review.We read all the reviews and thought this place is going to be out of this world, my god it was not. We arrived late on Wednesday to find out our room we had upgraded to was infact MISSED. luckily this was rectified and we was upgraded to block 5000 which was lovely.You have to have A LOT of patience to stay at this hotel as you will get a lot of line jumpers for food and ordering drinks, some staff are nice and some staff are pretty rude and not helpful at all. You are not allowed to move your umbrella to position it to block the sun so our children was in 44 degree heat which was unbelievable.Food is not great at all, if I'm being 100% honest the worst food I have ever endured in my 26 years of holidays abroad.The pool tiles need a good clean, lots of uneven tiles and sand in the pool. Cups are pretty tacky, plastic so they need an upgrade.Would I come back? No! 3 star overall.

Lovely resort, has everything that you need on the resort. Perfect for kids/families and also has adult relaxation areas. The staff are all amazing and super helpful, especially when it comes to kids. The kids corner staff go beyond and above!Great place to stay.

It's our third time in 4 years at Desert Rose. This place is amazing!The facilities are great, they make good use of the green space (outdoor gym, games area, peddle court, kids playground). A few pools and a small aqua park.Unlike a lot of the other hotels, the food was also really good. Breakfast was repetitive but the other buffets were changed slightly every day and always tasted great. There are a couple of pool and beach bars where you can get some lighter meals (burger etc), those weren't as nice but did the job.Animation program was always nice, also for the kids.Main compliant is the rooms. While still nice and clean, the regular rooms are not 5 star standard. Old furniture, old bathrooms. The superior rooms are much nicer though.Finally, almost all the staff we dealt with were very nice and friendly. With one or two exceptions, no one was actively sitting there waiting for a tip (even if they really were)
