Baa atolli kookospähklikujulisel saarel asuvat kuurorti Kihaa Maldives ümbritsevad valged liivarannad, korallrahu ja lopsakas roheline taimestik. The staff are really helpful and friendly, they will find a way to make your stay/experience worth it, I went there for my honeymoon and and I enjoyed my time there. Couldn’t ask for anything more. The food is also amazing and really delicious.

The resort is really very beautiful, the guys who work there are very nice and helpful. However, real management is lacking. There is a lack of communication with customers. There was no sheet with the activities that would be done during the day. There are no excursions offered by the resort, only diving and not even that many. There is no spa completely, in fact at this moment the massages are dedicated only to men. Really sorry, but applause to these guys who work so hard

Island itself is gorgeous. Plan your time of arrival at the airport of Male as to reach Kihaa you will need to take a domestic flight, and are only 2 in a day. The hotel will take care of it, but if you arrive after 5 pm, there is a chance you will have to sleep one night in Male.Rooms are gorgeous. There are many options of villas: with pool, beach front, etc. But all of them are stunning. We been in 2 villas, second night we were upgraded bcos of honeymoon package.Rooms are clean and well planned, AC is absolutely needed and working well.Food: Maldives not gastronomic destination as everything is import. However, the team makes a lot of efforts to keep variety and taste outstanding. Staff in the restaurant are so polite and care!Honeymoon. We are glad we chose this place to celebrate our wedding. The ceremony was great, and romantic dinner was so delicious, we barely could walk))) Pictures done by Hammad will stay with us for the good memory forever.Thank you, Kihaa!

Updating in progress, which detracted from a nice island. The amenities require updating urgently. The reception staff (some) seem disinterested or unhelpful and not trained enough.No sign on gents toilet (till day 6), ladies toilet had one (out of two) out of service the whole week with the other toilet having no seat until I complained two days in a row.Water sports equipment needs updating unless you want to pay for the use of the good stuff.More staff required on the Island.

The Island is very pretty & as you'd expect. Our beach villa room was good & all of the staff are friendly & lovely & try to give a good service. However, there are lots of problems with this resort. I think that the general manager of this hotel has never managed a hotel before (I'd doubt that they've even stayed in a regular hotel, because if they had, they'd be able to immediately make a long list of all the things that are wrong here).Alternatively, the owners are not allowing any money to be spent on the day-to-day provisions. Here's a list of the main problems:The second restaurant is permanently closed - so there is only the one main buffet restaurant.There are no "special nights", there is no BBQ night - every day is the same in the buffet.The food is incredibly basic & repetitive - there is almost no fruit on offer.The "cooking stations" just make pancakes & omelets & the like (at every meal).The staff are not even given a standard uniform or name badges.They ran out of white wine for about 5 days, then got a delivery & then ran out again 2 days later. They even ran out of beer! (lots of basic things are just not available).Most of the equipment in the fitness centre is broken (& they didn't even know that it was broken - but still couldn't fix any of it).The water villas are just a building site of empty broken down buildings.A whole section of beach villas close to the main reception area are also a deserted building site.All in all - you'd be best to avoid this resort. There are many others that provide a much better overall experience.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary on this fantastic tropical island. I have traveled extensively and been to more than 80 countries, but this heavenly island surpasses everything I have seen before. The white beaches and the azure blue water are insanely beautiful and pristine. There is no trash or plastic. The palm trees are beautiful and natural, not arranged in neat rows by a landscaper. I'm not a fan of all-inclusive resorts filled with energetic tourists, but Kihaa Resort had everything I love. A relaxed atmosphere in beautiful surroundings, with a style of laid-back ambiance, thatched roofs, and sand on the floor.The staff is wonderful and does everything to ensure we enjoy our vacation without being intrusive. The guys at the bar did everything to find our taste in drinks and customized them to our preferences, all in a relaxed and laid-back style that made our evenings fantastic. On our anniversary day, the GM and our host went the extra mile to make the day extra special with beautiful decorations in our villa and a romantic dinner.The food was a combination of a buffet with Asian cuisine with a European twist and two grill stations where chefs prepared daily dishes. Additionally, there was the catch of the day and the soup of the day. It was, of course, not Michelin 3-star, but everything was well-prepared and tasty, especially the two grill stations offered many exciting local dishes. Even the included red wine was drinkable, which is rarely experienced at these latitudes. If you desire better wine, there's a wine list with a wide selection, although at fairly high prices.The reason we chose Kihaa was that for many years, I had wanted to experience the unique phenomenon in Hanifaru Bay, where a high concentration of plankton attracts schools of manta rays when carried by the southwestern current. Hanifaru is just a few minutes' sail from the dive center at Kihaa, and it lived up to all our dreams. We met plenty of manta rays, and it was a magnificent sight to see these majestic creatures frolic in the plankton. A truly unique experience that will be etched in our memories forever. You do not need to be a scuba driver on this trip since you only allowed to snorkel I this UNESCO protected bay.We visited Kihaa in the last week of September, which is on the end of the monsoon season, as it's the best time to experience manta rays in Hanifaru Bay. Naturally, we were a bit concerned about how much rain we would get, but as everyone we had asked had said, the rain was not a problem. It was around 30 degrees, and it typically rained for only a couple of hours, after which the sun returned. We had only one full day of rain, during which we went to Hanifaru Bay, so it turned out to be a fantastic day nonetheless.In summary, our experience at Kihaa exceeded all our expectations, offering a tranquil getaway on a magnificent and heavenly tropical paradise island that will leave an indelible mark in our memories for eternity.
